and new fans. Sheryl headlines top comedy clubs across the country,
including Caroline's On Broadway, the Improv & Funny Bone
comedy club chains.
Sheryl entered comedy competitions while serving in the USAF
Reserve... she was the first woman finalist in the 1989 Miller Lite
Comedy Search, the winner of the 1993 Old English Woman's Comedy
Crunch. In 1994, Sheryl won the "Funniest Female Comedian on Comic
View" award on BET ...was named First Runner up in the 1995 Bay
Area Black Comedy Competition-securing Sheryl a place in history as
the highest ranking female comedian. In fact, Sheryl was the only
comedian to place in the final round 3 years in a row. Sheryl
continues to show her patriotism by participating in the USO Tour
in December 2007 to support our troops in Iraq, Kuwait, and
Afghanistan a cause Sheryl will continues to support.
Sheryl was invited to Aspen as part of the US Comedy Arts Festival
where she appeared on C-Span as a panelist for "Wag The Debate" and
the Montreal Comedy Festival, where she performed for one sold out
week of Nasty Shows with comedian Bobby Slayton. Popular in Canada,
Sheryl toured with Lenny Clarke as part of the Nasty Tour and
appeared on the Mike Bullard show, a Canadian nighttime talk show,
ala Jay Leno.
Sheryl appeared on ABC's "The View", "Politically Incorrect"... the
"Late, Late Show" with Craig Kilborn... "Chelsea Lately" HBO's Def
Comedy Jam, host BET's Comic View... was a regular on Comedy
Central's "Tough Crowd... popped up as a guest on the WB's sitcom
"Nikki." Film credits include Bulworth and Master P's I Got the
Hook Up.
